avid sports lover, India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has vowed to
offer his help for the all-round development of other sports.

'I
am ready to help for the development of all sports in whatever possible
way,' Dhoni said while speaking at the 'Cash Award Ceremony' to honour
medal winners of the National Games held in February this year.
Dhoni's offer to help all sports comes in the backdrop of Jharkhand producing sporting talents such as boxer Aruna Mishra and archer Deepika Kumari. It was a moment of glory for the ace archer, who received cash prize from Dhoni as part of the government's announcement to reward medal winners. Dhoni, who took a break before joining the team on its tour of Australia, on Thursday visited the famous Deori temple to offer puja, a ritual the cricketer has been doing from his Ranji trophy playing days. |
