Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa today announced solatium to the victims
of a bus mishap in Tiruchy district on Sunday. She also announced
solatium to the family of a police Sub-Inspector, who died in a road
accident.

In
an official release here, the Chief Minister said she was shocked to
know that three persons lost their lives when a lorry hit the bus in
which they were travelling.
'I have instructed the officials concerned to ensure that those injured get the best treatment,' Jayalalithaa said and added that the families of the deceased will be given Rs one lakh and severely injured Rs 25,000 from the Chief Minister's public relief fund. In another press release, Jayalalithaa said she was shocked to know that Erode Special Sub-Inspector of police N J Rajagopal Singh died on 8 December after he met with an accident. 'I express my deep condolence to the death of Rajagopal Singh. I have ordered to give Rs two lakh from the Chief Minister's public relief fund to the family members of the police officer,' she said. |
